to Give Back?

ACI Jet has partnered with the Estrella Warbirds Museum, Youth Aviation Club for this year’s fundraising effort. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because we helped raise money for this worthwhile cause earlier this year by donating a sightseeing flight at the Paso Robles 50th Anniversary Airport Day event. We also sponsor and host various events and activities for the museum throughout each year, and ACI Jet employees regularly volunteer their time and talent to the Youth Aviation Club.

ABOUT

THE YOUTH AVIATION CLUB

The Estrella Warbirds Museum Youth Aviation Club operates on the basis that the leaders of tomorrow are the youth of today. Through their Middle and High School Aviation Groups, students have an opportunity to learn about aviation through field trips, guest speakers, community service, and hands-on experience. Numerous participants have gone on to obtain their pilots license even before their high school graduation. The Club awards a scholarship annually which goes toward formal education as an aviation maintenance technician, pilot, or other related field.

THE YOUTH AVIATION CLUB

AND CUESTA COLLEGE

The Estrella Warbirds Museum Youth Aviation Club is one of a few local aviation organizations that now function as a feeder program for the Cuesta College Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Program, which ACI Jet helped launch this year. Through the Cuesta AMT Program, local students, many from underserved communities, complete a 19-month training program which culminates in their FAA exams to become licensed technicians. Students residing in San Luis Obispo County can qualify for the “Cuesta Promise,” which covers much of the cost of participating in the program.

MAKE A DONATION

Every little bit helps, so we’re asking for a contribution of whatever amount you can. Donations to the Estrella Warbird Museum Youth Aviation Club are tax deductible under 501(c)(3), and year-end contributions like this can be a great way to round out your tax plan.
